NOMINATION

Today, I received some good news: The Hope Theory is nominated for Best Solo Performance in 2024 by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. I am extremely honored with this recognition, and as always, it would not have been possible without the whole team involved in producing this show. The world is strange right now, and this nomination will not change that. But it is nice to know that when you speak about important topics like immigration and the experience of culture displacement, some people listen. If nothing else, that is the beginning of an ongoing dialogue I feel is urgent in the US right now, and the best way to make it possible might be through the arts. Let’s keep opening more of those doors.
