EIGHT YEARS AGO

Time does fly, and if certain things change, others don’t. Eight years ago, I shot a video trailer for a show I was opening in New York. The show is long gone, but the trailer remains. Not only have I found memories of shooting it, but I am still very proud of the result. It was produced by Cimbalino Filmes and shot in Porto, Portugal. I always wonder what makes something you’ve created in the past relevant as time goes by. The answer is, most of the time, the idea. If the idea is timeless, the result has a better chance of becoming timeless too. So, here is the video we did in 2016 to see if the idea still resonates with you in our times.
